Why we stand out.

Custom Drapery Design Studio. High-End Products | Technical Design | Quality Focused

Handcrafted Window Treatments, Tailored to Your Home

Custom drapery offers a level of detail and flexibility that ready-made treatments cannot match. Choose from designer fabrics by Kravet, Schumacher, Thibaut, Lee Jofa, Fabricut, Pindler, Stout, and other leading fabric houses, along with specialty linings, decorative trims, and custom pleat styles tailored to the room.

From soft sheers and tailored panels to layered treatments and statement valances, each design is made to bring the right balance of scale, texture, privacy, and finish to your space.

Custom hardware completes the look with decorative rods, rings, finials, traverse systems, and specialty tracks available in a wide range of finishes. Hardware can be selected to blend quietly into the room or become an intentional design feature of the finished treatment.

1. Design Consultation

  1. Discuss your style, goals, and how the room will be used.
  2. Review inspiration, furnishings, architecture, and color palette.
  3. Determine privacy, light control, insulation, and decorative needs.

2. Select the Fabric

  1. Explore designer fabrics from Kravet, Schumacher, Thibaut, Lee Jofa, Fabricut, Pindler, Stout, Carole Fabrics, RM COCO, Mitchell Fabrics, and other leading fabric houses.
  2. Compare color, texture, pattern, durability, weight, and how each fabric will drape.
  3. Consider how the fabric works with existing furnishings and finishes.

3. Choose the Lining

  • Blackout lining for bedrooms and spaces requiring greater room darkening.
  • Privacy or light-filtering lining for everyday light control.
  • Interlining for additional body, fullness, insulation, and a more substantial drape.
  • Sheer drapery can also be designed as a separate layer for softened light and privacy.

4. Select the Pleat Style

  • Two-finger or three-finger pinch pleat
  • Euro pleat
  • Ripplefold
  • Grommet
  • Tailored pleat
  • Goblet pleat
  • Box or inverted pleat

5. Choose the Hardware

  1. Select from decorative rods, traverse rods, rings, finials, brackets, specialty tracks, and motorized systems.
  2. Choose from wood, metal, acrylic, and designer finishes coordinated with the room’s fixtures and furnishings.
  3. Determine the appropriate wall, ceiling, or specialty mounting method for the finished treatment.

6. Determine the Drapery Style & Configuration

  1. Choose paired panels, a single draw, or stationary side panels.
Select left, right, or split draw based on the opening and room layout.
  2. Determine the appropriate fullness and finished proportions for the fabric and pleat style.

7. Precision Measurements

  1. Confirm width, height, returns, projection, and mounting clearances.
  2. Account for trim, furniture, door hardware, and other architectural details.
  3. Determine the finished length, whether just above the floor, kissing, breaking, or puddling.

8. Custom Fabrication

  • Drapery is fabricated in our professional workroom to the approved specifications.
  • Fabric placement, pattern alignment, lining, pleats, hems, and finished dimensions are carefully considered.
  • Each treatment is inspected for workmanship and consistency.

9. Professional Installation

  1. Installation is completed by our in-house team.
  2. Hardware is securely mounted, leveled, and positioned for proper operation.
  3. Drapery is steamed, dressed, and adjusted so the folds hang naturally.

10. Final Dressing & Review

  1. Adjust pleats, folds, and hemlines for a clean, balanced appearance.
  2. Train the fabric where needed so it settles properly over time.
  3. Review operation, care, and maintenance for the finished treatment.
