1. Design Consultation

  • Discuss your style, goals, and how you use the space
     
  • Review inspiration photos, room aesthetics, and color palette
     
  • Identify functional needs: privacy, light control, insulation, decorative impact
     

2. Select the Fabric

  • Choose from designer fabrics: Kravet, Stout, Alendel, Mitchell Fabrics, Unique Fine Fabrics, Carole, RM Coco, Pindler, Horizons, Hunter Douglas, Graber, etc.
     
  • Compare textures, patterns, durability, and how the fabric drapes
     
  • Evaluate how the material works with your existing furnishings
     

3. Choose the Lining

  • Blackout lining for bedrooms
     
  • Privacy / light-filtering lining for living spaces
     
  • Interlining for added fullness, luxury, and insulation
     
  • Sheer or unlined options for an airy, soft look
     

4. Select the Pleat Style

  • Pinch pleat (2-finger, 3-finger)
     
  • Euro pleat (soft, tailored)
     
  • Grommet
     
  • Ripplefold / modern wave fold
     
  • Rod pocket or tab-top
     
  • Tailored pleat, goblet pleat, box pleat, inverted pleat (for formal looks)
     

5. Choose the Hardware

  • Custom rods (metal, wood, acrylic)
     
  • Finials, rings, brackets
     
  • Tracks or motorized systems
     
  • Color and finish selection to match the room’s palette
     
  • Confirm mounting method: wall mount or ceiling mount
     


6. Determine the Drapery Style & Configuration

  • Pair panels, single panel, or stationary side panels
     
  • Full-length drapery or café-height
     
  • Stack direction (left, right, split)
     
  • How much fullness you want (standard, tailored, or extra-luxe fullness)
     

7. Precision Measurements

  • Exact width, height, and return measurements
     
  • Ceiling height, projection, and clearance
     
  • Ensuring drapery will clear baseboards, door handles, or furniture
     
  • Determine hem length: break, puddle, kiss, or floor-length
     

8. Fabrication

  • Sent to our professional sewing workroom
     
  • Panels are cut, sewn, lined, pleated, and finished by hand
     
  • Quality control checks for symmetry, length, pattern match, and craftsmanship
     

9. Installation

  • Scheduled with our in-house installation team (no subcontractors)
     
  • Hardware installed securely and level
     
  • Drapery steamed, dressed, and perfectly placed
     
  • Final adjustments for ideal hang and symmetry
     

10. Final Styling & Review

  • Ensure pleats fall correctly
     
  • Adjust folds, train the fabric, and perfect the drape
     
  • Review care instructions and long-term maintenance tips
